In this polished portrait, I’ve resolved the issues noted below in the Before Picture while keeping the image as natural as possible.​ (I still need to correct the under eye over-editing).

Picture taken of me (after a busy workday) by a photographer friend for my middle school’s yearbook. Note my tired face (ugh), lamp sticking out of my head as well as my messy hair (especially on the right side), missing eyelashes and under eye over-editing from the photographer’s retouching, chubby cheeks, crooked lips without lipstick, uneven skin texture and blemishes on my face and neck, and flecks on my jacket.​

Judy Thompson of Watercolor Addict and Abstract Art of Lady J asked me to design two Etsy Shop banners. For her Watercolor Addict Etsy Shop, I combined two of her Fur Babies images using Photoshop for this adorable banner. For Abstract Art of Lady J, Judy chose this striking banner also created with Photoshop.

Natalie Duff is a passionate crafter specializing in fiber and paper arts. I originally created Natalie's Etsy Shop banner for her when she was active on Etsy. She later transitioned her online shop to Facebook, and the Facebook banner we created shows one of her greeting card designs using a recycled paper napkin.

 

You'll find many gift ideas on her Facebook page or at one of the many craft shows in the Naples area. Her current sewing endeavours are creating dog bandanas, bowl cozies and annotation bookmarks. Peek a Book & Take a Look wordmark, a favorite graphic design from a student project.
A Student Project Favorite — Wordmark with Info

A favorite Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop design from a 2017 student assignment involved creating an app logo for the fictional peek a Book app. With my peek a Book & take a look app, a visitor could photograph a book in any store to preview the first pages. Then they would read reviews, check sales levels and “bookmark” it for later purchase or download.

Another favorite Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop design from a 2017 student assignment involved creating an app logo for the fictional picSure app. With the picSure app, a visitor could photograph a person of interest in dating. Data such as criminal record, income level and social media likes would pop up and compare automatically with the visitor for compatibility.

 

This was one of my first designs. I remember being appalled by the app assignment, but I was/am proud of my fledgling work.
